The most exciting and renown online poker tournament will soon be
starting and will be larger then ever with $50,000,000 in the
prize pool. That's right, you guessed it, it is time once again for the PokerStars World Championship of
Online Poker. Starting in September with 62 events and

Starting on September 5th, the World Championship of Online Poker
(WCOOP) will run until the 26th of September, showcasing 62 events
altogether. In the first three days alone, there is NL Hold'em (6-max,
High Roller, Turbo, Rebuys), PL Omaha, Shootout, PL Draw tournaments
taking place, no matter what your game is there is something there for
you!
The buy-ins range from $100 to $25,000, where the Main Event has a
$5200 buy-in, taking place on September 26th and 27th, where you can
show your stuff in No Limit Hold'em for the chance to win $10,000,000!

The 2010 WCOOP has a guaranteed prize pool of $50 Million, making it
the biggest online tournament series ever. In 2009, players form 140
countries played 45 events over 18 days for a combined prize pool of
$51,652,800. There were three double bracelet winners: Ryan
‘g0lfa’ D’Angelo won Event 18: $320 8-Game and Event 29:
$320 Mixed Event, Bertrand
‘ElkY’ Grospellier won Event 38: $530 No Limit Hold’em
1R1A and Event 43: $215 No Limit Hold’em. And the Player of Series, 20 year old Daniel
‘djk123’ Kelly, won two
events (RAZZ and High Roller HORSE) as well as placed fourth in the
Main Event. The Main Event was won by Yevgeniy
‘Jovial Gent’ Timoshenko, who then took home $1,715,200
in first place prize money. Last year there was $40 Million guaranteed
in the prize pool and almost $52 Million was awarded in prize money!!
