Sunday Million at PokerStars
The largest weekly online poker tournament is the Sunday
Million at Poker Stars. It is a No Limit Hold'em tournament with
guaranteed prize pool of $1,500,000 where you will face some of the
best online poker players. Are you ready to win the first place prize
of $160,000 and test your playing prowness? Are you ready to boost your bankroll for
as little as $2.20 or 400 FPP Points?
Hundreds of satellites are run
throughout the week, letting players have a chance to win their seat.
The Sunday Million is renown
around the world for good reason. There are huge prizes, which attracts
the big names in Poker that you've seen on TV, that could be out of
position to you! It is played on PokerStars software and takes place
every Sunday at 16:30 (ET) with a buy-in of $215.
If you've missed the satellites and the buy-in is not yet in
your bankroll, then sign up for the Sunday Two Hundred Grand
Tournament. It starts at 15:30 (ET) every Sunday and the buy-in is only $10!
The prize pool consits of $200,000.
Sunday Million – History
-The first ever Sunday Million was held on March 5, 2006,
and was won by ‘ aaaaaaaa’ from
Massachusetts, USA. A total of 5,893
runners played for a prize pool of $1,178,600.
-The average field size is 7,070 players.
-The biggest Sunday Million field so far was 36,169
players, on February 21, 2010 generating
a total prize pool of $7,233,800 in prize
money.
